So why now is it on Thursdays? Well, NOT just any Thursday, but today, May 10. I uploaded a newer video the other day to my other channel and a friend of mine had gone and watched it, and started to watch my other videos along with it, including this one embedded here. She told me how much the Poof Poof video made her laugh and somehow we decided that along with Pants-less Thursday, introduced by a fellow choral classmate, that we would wear our poof-poofs and sing Beyoncé's "Countdown" song, using my word substitute.
So why would this make it onto a beauty blog? Well, I wanted to share my Look of the Day with you! (LOOD). Yes, that includes my outfit, makeup, AND hair! What a treat, right? *insert mild sarcasm*
Anyway, since it is Poof-Poof Thursday, I used some major hairspray and a few bobby pins to secure my poof-poof, some dark red lipstick and simple eye makeup and I am all glammed up for the day. Wanna see?
Oh yeah, since my hair isn't really quite long enough yet, some MAJOR hairspray was required! I originally left the house this morning without the hairspray, merely having backcombed a small section of my hair to have it look like a horrible mess when I arrived at school...not so glam. I had to go and purchase some hairspray and a pocket comb. Worth the $3.59? YUP! And that's why!
As for my outfit, I decided to wear my flouncy white skirt, as it is ALSO Pants-less Thursday, a simple black tank with my gray cardigan that ties in such a fashionable way over the top. Simple jewelry--my teardrop dangles from a Macy's sale a few years ago. That's it!
And here's for the makeup, an 'oops' shot that turned out quite well, at least I think so!
